Ethiopian Agricultural Sample Enumeration, 2001/02 (1994 E.C.), Results at Country Level, Statistical Report on Socio-Economic Characteristics of the Population in Agricultural Households... Chapter 4, Land Utilization

This chapter deals with the data on land holding at country level that encompasses both rural
and urban private holdings on land use findings from the results of the agricultural census. It
covers data on farm holdings by type and size of land holdings; population in agricultural
households, that is in rural and urban areas of private holding that are disaggregated by size
of land holdings; land area and fragmentation by type of land use and size of holding;
cropland area by crop categories and data on area under land tenure systems. Also the census data should be presented for all the regions in Ethiopia. Hence, tables providing these data at national and regional levels are also presented in Statistical Tables 4.1-4.57. Moreover, Estimates, Standard Errors (S.E.) and Coefficients of Variation (C.V.) are given in Annex Tables 4.1 – 4.4.2 for some relevant variables.
