MAPPR provides easy access to over one hundred layers of spatially-explicit data for sub-Saharan Africa. Use MAPPR to “drill through” and extract information from fine-resolution data layers (each layer holds ~300,000 10km x 10km grid cells covering the sub-Saharan African region).
This chapter deals with the data on land holding at country level that encompasses both rural
and urban private holdings on land use findings from the results of the agricultural census.
For the first time in the history of census taking in the country , the Census of Population and Housing, and the Census of Agriculture were combined resulting in a Census of Population, Housing and Agriculture.
