Cindy Cox joined IFPRI on Halloween, 2011 and is a technical writer for HarvestChoice. She has M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in plant pathology from Washington State University and Kansas State University. She was an agricultural researcher at The Land Institute in Salina, Kansas before moving to DC with her family. Before graduate schools, Cindy was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Central African Republic. Her husband works in the Bureau of Food Security at USAID and they are the busy parents of six year-old triplet boys.
